About This Spot

Tucked away on the second floor of a quiet shopping plaza in Great Neck, Song's Family Food Court welcomes visitors into a space that gently hums with a relaxed, everyday comfort. The open seating area is bright and inviting, offering plenty of room to settle in for a leisurely meal, free from the rush and noise often found in busier city spots. Here, the pace slows just enough to appreciate the subtle warmth that comes from the attentive, friendly faces behind the counter and the aromas that quietly offer a hint of home.

What makes Song’s feel special is how it bridges casual dining with the genuine rhythms of Korean cuisine — a blend of flavors and textures that invite discovery without pretense. Whether you find yourself drawn to the fresh, carefully prepared sushi and sashimi or to the hearty, soulful soups and sizzling bibimbaps, there’s a thoughtful balance in the way dishes are made: generous portions without being overwhelming, freshness that feels deliberate but unshowy, and combinations that speak of both tradition and comfort.

This is a place where ingredients hold their own — the bright crunch of kimchi, the mellow warmth of a handmade noodle soup, or the delicate harmony in a simple yet satisfying bento box. Meals often arrive accompanied by small, complementary side dishes that add unexpected moments of flavor and texture, reminding you that a Korean meal is about savoring a collection of tastes that complement rather than compete.

The atmosphere echoes the gentle kindness found in the service — whether it’s a warm hello from the cashier or the camaraderie of the sushi chefs crafting rolls with quiet expertise — people here seem to take joy in sharing something good without fuss. It’s a thoughtful neighborhood spot where familiarity grows quickly, and the plate becomes a conversation piece that links the flavors of Korea with the comforting everyday of Great Neck.

A few different options of Asian cuisine here in this 2nd floor food court. The place is very clean with plenty of table space and chairs for patrons to enjoy their food. If you like Korean food you should come check this place out. It’s located on the top floor of a mini-mall type plaza with a few different places where you can go shopping and has free parking outside!!!

The 2 gentlemen at the sushi corner are very friendly. Sushi and sashimi are really fresh and great for the price. I couldn't finish the poke bowl and had to share with 2 other people. My mom really loved the mango, avocado, and salmon roll. Usually she has to ask separately for it, but here they have it on the menu which makes it easier for me!

We ordered large sushi&sashimi and large roll catering set. It was AMAZING rice was perfectly cooked, good portion (so it doesnt make you too full from rice) and fresh fish. Best takeout sushi!

EACH dish is priced at $18 and up, but the quantity is larger than most. It was very clean and freshly made, not some pre-cooked fast food. The taste is better than most of the Korean restaurant I would say. And the girl (cashier)is extremely kind and friendly! In addition, the free cold dishes are definitely a plus!

You guys should check this place out. I ordered sashimi poke and a roll. They are literally amazing. The sashimi was so fresh, the vegetables were fresh, and all the ingredients went well together! The portion is huge. If you like sashimi, you will love it here. I will definitely revisit!!

Love coming to this Cafeteria-styled Korean restaurant. There are so many Korean dishes as well as a variety of sushi and Korean-Chinese food. The service is always great, even on busy days. I've tried several dishes, their dumplings and katsu are some of my favorites. Can't wait to try their Korean fried chicken next time I'm in the area.
